What is the Volunteer Fair?
The Volunteer Fair is the first step in getting the residents of Sacramento more involved in their community. Come enjoy entertainment and fun while you explore the booths of Sacramento’s different volunteer organizations!
How can the Volunteer Fair help me?
Learn about organizations like Meals on Wheels, Volunteers of America and Habitat for Humanity, as well as how to get involved in the legislative process. Pick up pamphlets and other reading materials, like A Citizen’s Guide to Lobbying and How A Bill Becomes Law.
When is the Volunteer Fair?
Saturday, October 11, 2008 • 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
State Capitol Park, East Steps of the Capitol • 12th and N Streets
