Think BIG Sacramento! #BeHeard

Think BIG Sacramento is a regionally based organization consisting of over seventy community leaders from around the region. The group commissioned the Economic Engine Report, an economic analysis on the regional impact of an entertainment and sports complex.

The report projects an estimated “4,095 total jobs” would be created and it would “generate $556 million in total spending and $11.3 million in fiscal benefits to government agencies during the construction period.” Additionally, they estimate it will “generate $25 million in total annual spending and $775,000 in annual fiscal benefits to government agencies during ongoing operations, above the jobs already in existence at ARCO Arena.”

Think BIG is a regional initiative launched by Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson to facilitate construction of a new entertainment and sports complex (“ESC”) that promotes job creation, economic growth, cultural development and civic pride across the greater Sacramento metropolitan area.
